This is a heating system of the substrate surface, and is composed of a dense network of low voltage power cables, with a maximum distance of 35 cm between them. They have the function of heating the soil considerably and keeping its temperature constant. The technology calls for the subdivision of the field into separate, independently functioning heated areas. The system is completely computerized, thanks to temperature detectors under the surface of the soil and software that allows remote control or by internet and the regulation of the functioning of the system.
Thanks to this device, unique in Italian football pitches, the profile of soil explored by the root system can maintain a constant temperature of 12-14° C during the winter, thus significantly favouring germinating processes and recovery capacity of the gramineous species used, since they can stay live at those temperatures.
